Welcome
Most pregnancies are completely straightforward: A woman gets pregnant, she has a normal pregnancy that lasts nine months, she delivers a healthy baby, and she takes her baby home. End of story.
But not all pregnancies are so straightforward. Complications develop. Challenges arise. Doctors guide their patients through unknown experiences, and parents make choices they couldn't have dreamed possible before embarking on the road to parenthood.
The purpose of my website is to give prospective parents, who may face such challenges, an opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about such challenges. I will answer questions and, periodically, write about some potential problems, what to expect and how to deal with them. Most certainly we do not intend to replace the guidance and care of your own physician. Our only goal is to educate you. Knowledge protects you from the fear of the unknown.
